Know Your Rights
Consult a Toronto Criminal Defence Lawyer

Your rights and freedoms as a Canadian citizen are stated in The Canadian Charter of Rights and Freedoms. Your rights are paramount and a breach or violation of these rights in the course of police questioning and/or investigation may produce evidence which is considered “fruit of a poisonous tree”. If evidence against you has been produced under false pretense or violation of your rights, this evidence can then be considered inadmissible and your charges may be thrown out altogether. Consult Jeffrey I. Reisman prior to entering any type of plea or accepting responsibility for any charges. Having charges laid against you does not allow for violation of your rights, not at a police or judiciary level. You are entitled to many rights and freedoms, even within the course of detainment and trial. You should never have your rights violated and such violations can change the outcome of your case. Your freedom depends on hiring an experienced and qualified Toronto defence lawyer like Jeffrey I. Reisman who is focused on your rights and will fight for you and your freedom.

I hired Jeff after arrested for impaired driving/and over .80. He was accessible and always answered his phone when I had questions. He eventually had my case reduced so I didn’t have to undergo a year licence suspension. Hope I never go through this again but if I did would definitely hire him again.
